I am a mixed media artist working primarily in abstract painting and collage to create colorful and varied pieces in an ongoing exploration of meaning and material. Integral to my process is using color, texture and layering processes as a way to conceal and reveal messages and images, much in the way that surfaces become transformed and marked in the urban landscape. The texture of the city and the theme of our temporal appearance therein form major points of inspiration.
I was born in New York City in 1990 and have been living and working in Berlin, Germany since 2010.
